Geniposide is said to be an iridoid glycoside, extracted from the fruits of Gardenia jasminoides. Gardenia jasminoides is said to have been used as a dietary supplement in China for hundreds of years, for a variety of purposes, including mood support (Ye et al., 2018).*
Recent preliminary studies have indicated that geniposide may indeed play a role in helping to support a positive mood, although knowledge regarding the mechanism is limited and further research is needed (Cai et al., 2015, Zhao et al., 2018, Zhang et al., 2019, Sun et al., 2020, Yuan et al., 2020).* This is a research area of keen interest to certain companies and Zenstra does not wish to comment further on geniposide at this time. Further research may possibly be found online by searching for the term "geniposide mood," or by reading any of the aforementioned studies. Very good, negative thoughts are decreasing and I just feel better overall
I have been taking Zen 1 for 6 months now and they work for me. With someone that deals with depression, they give me the energy boost that I need. I have also started taking Lemon Aid as I have been struggling to sleep and also find these help me relax. Great products and highly recommended.
Having been on way too many prescribed medications, some beneficial, others with umpteen side effects, it's a wonderful feeling to take a supplement that does what its claimed to do, I need mental clarity after all the brain fog of previous said meds and this does it !
Highly recommended this company to most people I know, great customer service, very knowledgeable and prompt delivery.
Best customerservice on the Internett ❤️Also Great product 👌👍
My wife takes these as a replacement for prescription antidepressants. She'd been on those for a long time and had to wean herself off those gradually whilst taking the Zen1 as well.
Now though, 4 months in, she has been completely free of the antidepressants, taking 1x Zen1 per day normally, or if she's having a particularly difficult or stressful day, she occasionally takes another one that day.
For her, it's been fabulous and I'm delighted for her and with her happiness levels.
as ever - all products are 5*
